11.00 a.m.	Placing the Voice, Voicing the Place: Hartnett scholar James Lawlor revisits his old alma mater Desmond College to explore the importance of place in Michael Hartnett's work.
12.00 noon	Size2Shoes storm local schools with their unique quirky contemporary blend of rap and vocal percussion.
8.00 p.m.	Official Opening of Éigse Michael Hartnett by the Cathaoirleach of Limerick County Council, Councillor Richard Butler Keynote Speaker: Fergus Finlay on 'Reimagining and Reinventing Ireland' Presentation of the Michael Hartnett Annual Poetry Award 2011 to winning poet Peter Sirr for his volume of poetry 'The Thing Is' Reading by Peter Sirr from his winning poetry collection Music by Mike and Ken Hinchy of High Society Venue: Newcastle West Library Bí Linn agus Fáilte / All Welcome.
10.00 p.m.	Launch of Gabriel Fitzmaurice latest book 'Poems of Faith and Doubt' by Fintan O'Toole Venue: Cartlidge's Pub, Maiden Street Bí Linn agus Fáilte / All Welcome.
